Niels van Iersel
MC - The Bueno Boys
I am Niels, one half of The Bueno Boys. Together with Vinchenzo, we have been involved with DDO right from the start, and by now it feels like one big family.
In addition to our love for dance and sports, we have also built membership software that is now used by more than 175 dance schools. It is fantastic to see how this helps so many people in their daily work, and we are very proud of it!
Would you like to know how we can make your life as a dance school owner easier too? Check www.bueno.nu or simply send us a message for a friendly introduction and a free demo.
Ture de Weijer
MC
Ture (pronounced Toere, something to do with Scandinavia)
Since last year, I have been an MC at DDO, in other words: one of those people with a microphone in hand who happily skips around and chats away (my ADHD really comes into its own here!). I have a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management (Windesheim) and have always been crazy about everything related to sports and exercise. Dance is a big part of that: I did ballroom dancing for a few years and, in the early days of YouTube, endlessly paused videos to teach myself new moves (with varying degrees of success).
I’ve been part of the DDO crew since last year, and it feels like one big party every time. It’s amazing to be at competitions surrounded by so much talent and enthusiasm. The dancers give it their all, the audience is always engaged, and together we make it a party. My role? To shine the spotlight on the dancers and make sure everyone (especially the audience) goes home with a smile.
Julie van Valkengoed
MC
From a young age, I have been active in the modern and show dance scene. What started as competing in many dance competitions grew into coaching teams and guiding soloists and duos. Nowadays, I no longer work solely as a teacher, but also undertake many other projects, such as MCing, as well as performing dance and hostess assignments.

Linda Biljouw
Jury Modern Jazz/Showdance
With a completed dance academy education (Bachelor Dance in Education), I have been able to develop my passion for dance in various directions. Modern and jazz dance have always been an important part of my artistic foundation, and in recent years I have also lost my heart to bachata.
In my daily work, I am active as a dance teacher and performing dancer. It remains special to see how much joy, energy, and creativity young people put into dance. That makes it a joy for me to also join as a judge: with passion and a keen eye for detail, I enjoy seeing talents grow and helping them take a step further in their development.

Willis
Jury HipHop
You have been finding Willis on the dance floor since 2001. At first, he danced various other street styles for a few years, but after he tried breaking, there was no turning back and he fell completely in love with this art form.
From that day on, he trains 6 days a week to find his own movements and perfect his craftsmanship.
After winning multiple events on a national and international level, giving workshops all over the world, and sharing the stage with artists like King Bee and Das EFX, you can still find him in the hip-hop scene daily. If not as a judge at many events, then as Head of Education at his company, or setting up exchange projects to send dancers around the world.
The love for hip-hop culture is the driving force to keep building and passing it on to the next generations.

Channah Jane Gleijm
MC
Graduated from the Lucia Marthas Institute for Performing Arts. Dancing and singing have been my greatest passions since childhood. I have been teaching many dance classes for years and enjoy coaching teams, solos, and duos for competitions. I work as a dance coach, singer, MC, and perform dance hostess gigs. DDO is a place where I feel at home; it is an honor as an MC to welcome dancers and see them shine both on and off stage!
Kim Vega - Shot by Kim
Huisfotograaf
I have a huge passion for dance photography. The energy, passion, power, elegance, and precise movements. They don't need to say anything; they dance straight into your heart. Dance is the expression from soul to soul. It is incredibly exciting because you have no influence on the process, the scenes, the poses, or the lighting.
The speed at which you have to shoot to capture that perfect shot gives a huge thrill. A dance photo shoot must convey feeling and passion, just like the dance itself! I would love to do this every day!
